    1964 ROYAL DOLL 20" LONELY LISA, VERY RARE. Also known as Lonesome Lisa
    Her facial expression and big eyes came from the beautiful paintings popular at the time by Margaret Keane.
    Lonely Lisa is wearing her original red and black gingham dress with cherry appliques, black stockings and she even has her original slip and bloomers. She has wire armature, which means she has wire going through her which allows her to be posed. She is very special, but delicate.  Her head is slightly wobbly but it doesn't stop her from displaying beautifully.
    Her head, arms, and legs are vinyl, and her body is stuffed cloth. She has rooted hair and painted eyes and is 20" long. All her vinyl is in perfect condition.  Many years ago, a Lonely Lisa went for auction, but I've not found one since. I am the original owner and as a little girl, I received her new for Christmas.
