Antique / Vintage Crompton Parkinson "A.C. Test" Meter RARE c1926

For your consideration: A piece of electric history - "A.C. Test" Meter
by Crompton Parkinson, made in Chelmsford. U.K. circa 1926.

an extremely RARE Collector's / Museum
piece,

This test unit is set in a beautiful wood housing and is complete with
an extra Resistance Unit mounted on the back.
It comes complete with a storage / carrying case made of galvanized steel
lined with thick felt.
Size of the meter is 8 1/2 inches wide
x 6 inches deep
x 11 1/2 inches tall
(21.5 x 29 x 15 cm), with is 5.62 Kg (12.38 pounds).
Size of the case is 8 inches x 11 inches x 12 inches tall.
Combined weight of meter and case is 8.97 Kg (19.78 pounds).
Display glass has a crack in the upper left portion, otherwise the meter
is in great condition. It is untested, so I can't speak to the functionality,
but given the overall condition of the unit, I can't see why it would not work.
This meter came out an old electrical / appliance repair shop.
The case has a broken strap, but is in great vintage condition otherwise.
