Antique Tobacco Cigarette Silk- Portugal #14, Approx. 2"x 3-1/8", with minor fraying. Cigarette Silks were small pieces of printed or woven silk or satin to incentivize buyers. Collections and vignettes were issued on a variety of topics such as animals, flowers, railways, automobiles, flags, etc. This is from a larger collection recently acquired - see the other Antique Cigarette Silks in my store!
