Antique Telescope "the Cub" X18 by Newbold & Bulford Ltd in Excellent Condition
This cute little spyglass from the years around WWII, works well and is attractive with a main tube recovered in modern pigskin. The telescope is complete and the draws open smoothly. The telescope was clearly made for a young person and is in good enough condition that it could still be gifted to a child.
The telescope has good optics that work almost as well as they did on the day the telescope was made. It forms a clear sharp image when focused by moving the smallest draw to the appropriate position.
The scope is 6 1/2 inches long when folded, about 17 1/2 inches long when extended and has an objective lens with a diameter of about 1 inch. It can be dissembled for cleaning if that should become necessary. Be sure to examine the images as they form an important part of the description.
Although shipping is listed as economy, items will generally be shipped priority if costs are comparable.   I will consider sending the telescope to restricted countries if a buyer seems responsible and assumes shipping risks.
