    Description

    This listing is for 8 early 1900's tobacco felt flags.  Most of these date from 1910-1915 and are actually flannels rather than felts, as commonly called.  I have hundreds to list, some made into curtains, some into blankets (as women were encouraged to do) and some individual.
    These are 8 flags of 7 countries sewn together (1 duplicate) and with a backing and stitched for a curtain rod.  The flags are all in good condition and probably measured about 7 3/4" X 5 1/2" before being stitched together.  The valence measures 10 1/2" X 30 1/2" and includes the flags of Egypt, Mexico, Spain, Sweden Switzerland, China and 2 Hayti (Haiti).  This is #4 of 4 valences in this size (different flags) which I am listing.
