    ANTIQUE FRAMED CIGARETTE TOBACCO FELT
    Neat antique framed under glass tobacco felt measuring 10-3/4" wide and 8-1/2" deep - actual framed felt portion (without the wood arms included) is 8" wide by 6" deep. Featuring a wonderful tramp art style frame with carved, applied leaf decoration, it houses a college school CALIFORNIA banner flag that dates to around 1910 - a premium from the American Tobacco Company as a way to encourage smokers to purchase their brand. Condition is lovely - frame has no issues other than a bit of fine wood shrinkage around the gold trim - complete with wire hanger - felt banner color is a bit soft from age, but felt has no holes, tears, or damage. A beautiful antique tobacco felt and frame - nice addition to any collection or display!
