1956 GIRL SCOUT SENIOR ROUNDUP
Pontiac, Michigan,
OFFICIAL GSUSA EVENT PIN
There were four Senior Girl Scout Roundups.  This pin is the official event pin from the 1956 Roundup near Pontiac, MI.   Event pins are awarded to an attendee, but
cannot be purchased.
Thus, like all GSUSA "event pins," they become a treasured item.  It measures slightly less than 3/4 inch in diameter.  This was the FIRST of only four Roundups, so collectibles are very rare.  The back has a good working safety catch and the hallmark is "R" which is probably Robbins & Co.  If you have lost yours, don't miss this chance to have a memento of this huge event.  The color on this pin has been painted that chipped quite easily, but this one is EXCELLENT.  There are no chips or missing paint.  Amazing that it is in such excellent condition after SIXTY-FIVE YEARS.  Check my store for more senior pins.  Most are GIFT QUALITY.
